Sparsholt C.C.The "Premier Village" cricket club, in the heart of the picturesque village of Sparsholt, just outside the historical city of Winchester. We field three teams on a Saturday (our top team play in the ECB Southern Electric Premier League (SEPCL) Div 3, Our second and third teams play in the Hampshire Cricket League (HCL)), a Sunday team that play friendly fixtures with local teams and touring sides alike (a team for the casual player as well as those who want to play but not competitively), as well as a midweek team and a thriving junior section comprising of 7 teams aged from U-9 to U-16s.

Find the club

Enter Sparsholt village from B3049 (A272 on old maps) Winchester / Stockbridge road past the Plough PH. Take right fork and after 30m turn into narrow lane, (thatched cottage on corner) signposted “Watley Farm and cricket”.

The ground is approximately 400m at end of lane, beyond Watley Stud Farm and over the 3 sleeping Policemen.

Please note that the 3rd XI (RD3NW) play home games at North Walls (SO23 7DD) or King George V Playing Fields (SO23 0QA). DO NOT TRAVEL TO SPARSHOLT VILLAGE.
